It is very important that you follow the instructions listed below to assure that your flowers will be maintained and ready for preservation.

Please let your florist know that you are preserving your flowers. Ask them to use the freshest flowers as possible. Also try not to use wires.

Please make arrangements to have the flowers delivered to Bloom 'in Memories within 48 hours of your wedding.

Please handle your flowers with tender loving care because bumping or touching them will bruise the petals.

Place the flowers in a plastic bag, inflate with air and seal it with a twist tie. Place the bag in a refrigerator or cooler. (Please make sure that the flowers do not freeze as this will damage the petals.) Do not get the flowers wet during this storage process.

Please allow 12 to 16 weeks for your completed design. We request a deposit at the time that you drop off your bouquet or flowers. The remaining balance is due at the time of delivery. For your convenience we accept Visa and Mastercard.

Instructions for shipping flowers to us

A clean Styrofoam picnic cooler big enough to hold your flowers without crowding them.

A corrugated carton big enough for the Styrofoam cooler

A pre-frozen ice substitute, such as “Blue Ice” DO NOT USE DRY ICE

  A lightweight plastic trash bag.

  Newspaper

  Packaging Paper

Preparation for your flowers should begin as soon as possible after the wedding. Most fresh flowers will maintain their peak condition longer in cool, dark, humid surroundings where they have a constant source of water to the cut ends of the stems.

If your bouquet is mounted in a bouquet holder with wet floral foam, place the entire bouquet in the trash bag and securely close the bag opening with a twist tie or by tying a knot in it. Place the bouquet in a refrigerator until you can ship it to us. DO NOT MIST OR FREEZE THE FLOWERS

If a bouquet is a hand tied style, remove any ribbon, which may be wrapped around the flower stems and cut approximately one inch from the ends of the stems. Ideally, stems should be held under lukewarm water when cutting. Place the bouquet in a CLEAN vase or jar containing a flower preservation solution. Your florist can provide you with a small packet to mix the water. Loosely cover the bouquet in a refrigerator until you can ship it to us. DO NOT MIST OR FREEZE THE FLOWERS. Before shipping remove the bouquet from the vase. Saturate a rag with water and wrap it around stem ends. Place a small plastic bag over the rag and secure the top against the flower stems with tape. Do not use a rubber band as this may bruise the flower stems. Place the entire bouquet in a lightweight plastic trash bag and securely close the end with a twist tie or by tying a knot in it.

To ship flowers, wrap the frozen ice substitute in several layers of newspaper and securely tape it to the bottom of the cooler to prevent movement during shipping. Crumple newspaper enough to cover the entire bottom and the ice substitute. This will prevent your flowers from coming in direct contact with the ice pack. Place the bouquet, inside a trash bag, on the top of the crumpled newspaper. If there is room around flowers, crumple more newspaper and carefully pack it around bouquet to minimize movement around flowers. Securely tape the lid of the cooler to the bottom using packaging tape. Some tapes do not stick good to Styrofoam so we recommend going all the way around the cooler at least once in both directions. Place the cooler in the corrugated carton and pack more newspaper around the outside if necessary to prevent movement.

Prices do not include applicable sales tax and shipping charges for your finished design. There will be an additional charge for any flowers that need to be replaced. Added cost of the replacement flowers will not exceed $20.00 without customer approval. In the event your flowers are damaged due to the circumstances beyond our control, such as power failure, our liability is limited to replacement of the flowers. Allow at least three months for us to freeze dry your flowers and complete your arrangement.

A deposit of 50% of your total order will be charged to your credit card when your flowers are delivered to us. The balance will be charged when your order is completed and shipped back to you
